OVERVIEW

What is Deep Tech? How to invest in this sector?

As defined in a recent report by SOSV, a unique 'hands-on' fund for Deep Tech with $650M AUM that makes 150 new investments per year, Deep Tech has, broadly speaking, a) some technical risk and b) the intersection of two or more disciplines (i.e. software combined with hardware, biology, medicine, material science, physics, etc.).

Plum Alley, similar to SOSV, looks at Deep Tech as a critical area of innovation and great opportunity, with several existing portfolio companies and many pipeline companies building or leverage proprietary hardware or implementing solutions that involve multiple scientific disciplines.

In partnership with Plum Alley, SOSV will present its latest research on emerging trends, and share lessons learned from investing in Deep Tech companies.
